On Friday December 14th, Uisp?s solidarity football arrives at the ?center of the empire of soccer?, the technical center of Coverciano, a traditional meeting place of the Italian National football team. If you want to make a provocation, this is the meaning of ?The Arcobaleni Team - Soccer for all, social soccer?, a day of sport and cultural deepening organized by Uisp and AAMS, in which many Uisp realities that work on the topic of social inclusion has been confronted. According to Carlo Balestri, coordinator of Progetto Ultr?, "It is fundamental that Uisp makes increasingly central the themes of social and multicultural inclusion." In this vision, sport must be understood as "an antidote against discriminations, against skin color, gender or disability discriminations."
For Alessandro Ribolini, National Manager of Uisp SportforAll Sector, Arcobaleni team is an example of how our sport can prove to have important contents, to have a social value, but not only, that is the value of actions we daily carry out". About the place where the meeting takes place, Ribolini adds: "The innovation character is just this aspect: to speak about an other soccer in the place which is the temple of football, not only competitive but professional too.?
"Arcobaleni Team", a multiethnic team as it?s the city of Perugia. Sport with the careful eye to what it happens around it. This is now and it was the Uisp vision for Lucio Selli, a Uisp manager and a man of sport that covered important associative and institutional positions. Lucio Selli disappeared on December 14th 2005, exactly two years ago, and to him it?s dedicated the day of social soccer organized by Uisp in Coverciano. Arcobaleni is just the name that Selli invented ten years ago for a team of Uisp Umbria Regional Committee, of which he was regional president.

The professional training course in "Sports journalism and communication for the sports associations", organized by the Department of Education Science and Cultural and Training Process of the Florence University, in collaboration with the Laboratory of communication strategies, Uisp, Ussi (Italian Union of Sports Press) and Coni, it?s a training route mainly thinked to give a new impetus to sports journalism and institutional communication of organizations, associations, public institutions, belonging or linked to the sports world. The project answers to the insistent demand of skills able to create new processes and modalities of communication, within public and private companies operating in the sports world.

On Monday December 10th , the Peace Nobel Prize was officially delivered to the former American Vice President Al Gore and to the UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Evolution (Ipcc). A news that give us the opportunity to talk about environment with Santino Cannav?, Manager of Uisp Environment and Sustainability Sector. "The Nobel for Peace to Al Gore it?s a strong political signal. Cannav? has explained us - the commission has meant to say that more serious than war between men it is the war that men has declared to the environment and so to himself ". A political signal that can not be ignored, even by the sports associations. "Our association needs to stop itself and to rethink about a sustainable action".
Professional sport is not careful to these topics, where "the big facilities? is the model of the Olympic sport, with all that involves in terms of exploitation of energetic resources. Uisp activity can be a big lever to promote a reasoned consumption of the resources, but also, and above all, an environmental sensibility that push us ?to see in our own actions a future result." "For us," it has emphasized Cannav? - sport is different, with the man at the center, in its entirety, also with respect to health and to a good living environment.?
" A recent study is being carried out on the environmental impact of our great events, in order to promote an environment and sustainable development, through the use of biodegradable materials, studying the system of mobility in order to promote the public and collective transport, developing solutions in order to use the water of public network and not in plastic bottles.?
